On Course Events has teamed up with the Lake Tahoe Golf Course and Tahoe Center for Orthopedics to bring South Lake Tahoe's newest bike series to life. Tahoe Games Bike Nights will include a series of three x-country night bike races hosted at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course.
Tahoe Games Bike Nights aims to elevate action sports in South Lake Tahoe with a unique and challenging course built across fairways, through sand traps, over bridges and along the occasional cart path. This new series will begin on Friday, July 31st with monthly events through September.
On Course Events plans to illuminate this custom x-country course with glow sticks and festival style lighting all while being naturally lit up with a full moon. Bike lights are strongly encouraged for all competitors, however; JetLites will be on-site at every event offering free light rentals to ensure rider safety. The course will be designed for ages 10+ to enjoy on any type of non-motorized bicycle.
Tahoe Games Bike Nights will be hosted monthly at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course (July 31, August 15 + September 26.) Registration will open at 8:00 pm with races starting at 9:00 pm followed by awards at 10:00 pm. Races will be conducted with group starts and multiple classes.
